Kris Jenner reportedly wants to debut Kim Kardashian’s new baby on her talk show next month despite Kanye West’s objections.
Kim and Kanye welcomed their first child together last Saturday.
The newborn girl was born a few weeks prematurely and is rumoured to have weighed just under 5lbs.
It has been claimed Kanye is vehemently opposed to having his daughter featured on any of the Kardashian family’s reality programmes.
He told the New York Times in a recent interview that his child “isn’t America’s baby”.
He also stated he decided to stop appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians due to “the amount of backlash” received from the media.
Manager-and-matriarch Kris apparently doesn’t care about Kanye’s desires and is planning on debuting her granddaughter to the world when her programme entitled Kris airs July 15.
“Kanye of course has been very vocal about not wanting his daughter to be on any of the Kardashian reality shows,” a family source told Radar Online.
“[If Kris wants Kim and the baby to appear on the show] she will make it happen.
Kim has a very hard time ever saying no to her mom. She wants Kris’ talk show to be a success, and wants to help any way she possibly can.
This could put Kim at odds with Kanye, but Kris isn’t worried about that. Kris knows Kim will do it in the end because she is so close to her.”
Kris attended the Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
An onlooker claims she told people “to tune into her new talk show to get all the inside scoop about Kim’s newborn baby.”
Meanwhile it appears that a number of celebrities in Kanye’s milieu are celebrating the new arrival.
"Congratulations Kim & Kanye," Beyoncé Knowles wrote on her Tumblr page today. "Enjoy this beautiful moment together."
