Petaling Jaya: Khairul Idham starts Italian GP from front Row!

Malaysian Khairul Idham Pawi is on the right track for a second podium finish at the Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

The Honda Team Asia rider made history for Malaysia when he won the Argentina Grand Prix last month.

In Mugello on Saturday, the 17-year-old Moto3 rookie wil start from the front row after clocking the third fastest time of 1:57.605 in the qualifying session.

The Perak lad is currently ninth overall on 29 points.

 

However, it was a miserable outing for another Malaysian, Adam Norrodin of SIC Racing Team.

He could only manage 31st spot after clocking 1:59.453.

In Moto2, Hafizh Syahrin struggled to adapt to the heat and ended 15th in 1:52.466.
